About Taiba
Hi! I’m a medical student at Leicester with a strong background in tutoring and a real passion for helping others learn. Through my own journey in medicine, I’ve developed tried and tested revision techniques—like active recall and spaced repetition that really work and I love sharing them with my students. With previous 1-1 tutoring experience, I know how to explain things clearly and in a way that actually makes sense. I’ve seen great results from students I’ve worked with and I believe that learning doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Sometimes teachers stick to one way of explaining things, but I understand that everyone learns differently. That’s why I adapt my approach to suit you by breaking things down into manageable steps and making the whole process more enjoyable and easier to grasp. I want my students to feel confident, supported, and genuinely enjoy learning.

Struggling to keep up or aiming for top grades? I offer friendly, non-judgemental tutoring with proven results. As someone who has struggled to find good tutors in the past, I can understand how important it is to feel comfortable to ask your tutor questions and feel supported. I use interactive, student-centred methods personalised to individual needs by focusing on the foundations needed for learning and building confidence. My lessons suit all levels of GCSE maths students, from beginners to advanced learners. I am passionate to make Maths enjoyable and easier for more students as I can understand that it can often be confusing and difficult. Each session would typically last 60 minutes as I feel that this is enough time to stay engaged and focused on the content. I have 2+ years of tutoring experience whilst in school teaching GCSE maths students which has given me lots of experience.
