About Michael
I am a graduate from the University of California Santa Cruz, with a Bachelors of Science in Computational Mathematics. I am experienced in teaching math to students ranging from the 3rd grade to college. I also have experience assisting students in SAT, ACT, HSPT, and SSAT prep. I strive to create a comfortable and positive environment to help students understand mathematics in a way that is easily digestible to them.

I believe that math is a very misunderstood subject to students. Many may feel that math is a very boring subject because of how repetitive it is taught in school. As a tutor, I try to appeal to the interests of individual students, as well as their preferred learning methods. Whether it is visual, hands-on, or auditory, I will try my best to tap into the potential of each of my students.
