About Alana
I am a certified yoga instructor teaching at a wellness center in North Scottsdale. I have a degree in psychology, so I am able integrate my 5 years of yoga experience and academic studies to create a healing-centered teaching style. My motto is yoga for all. What I teach should help you reconnect with your body, and that's something we all deserve and need. My classes are for all levels and are about increasing mobility, self-awareness, ability to relax, and confidence!

I love helping people achieve their goals! As someone who entered yoga with sustained sports injuries, I could barely do any postures. I love showing people what they can do already and how they can take actionable steps to improve. My classes are all about meeting you where you are and increasing appreciation for your body, all of its awesome functions, and its potential.
Yoga has helped me realize one of my main purposes in life, which is teaching. I have always enjoyed the practice of yoga and knew that I could take that passion further by becoming a teacher. After I graduated college, I decided it was time to take initiative and do this thing that I had been weighing on my heart, so I entered my 200-Hour certification program.
I have a Bachelors' of Science in Psychology and 2 years of experience as a behavior technician. My studies and previous occupation have provided me with strong foundation of empathy, wellness, patience, and knowledge of the brain and behavior.
I have been practicing yoga for 5 years and attained my yoga instructor certiication through one of the top studios in the valley, Inner Vision Yoga. There I gained an appreciation for yoga philosophy, healing techinques, alignment, and meditation.

Right now, I have a new student special where classes are $20 for drop-ins (20% off), and a 6-week class pass is $120 ($240 value). You can sign up on the website I've provided!
I am also open to doing privates at the studio that I currently work. My pricing will vary depending on the needs of the client.
