About Durga
Experienced tutor with over 5 years of teaching support for primary and secondary students, helping them build confidence and improve their results in Malay language, creative writing, English, Mathematics, and Tamil.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Heritage Studies (Hons) from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, with academic training in Malay literature, culture, and history. This background has given me a strong understanding of language, storytelling, and cultural perspectives that enrich the way I teach and guide students in their learning journey.
With more than 5 years of tutoring and teaching experience, I have worked closely with students to strengthen their academic performance while also developing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
I believe every student learns differently. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to match each student’s learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. My teaching approach is interactive, supportive, and engaging, helping students stay motivated and confident in their learning.
My goal is to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. Whether lessons are conducted online or in-person, I am committed to helping each student reach their full academic potential.

Details
My tutoring fee is RM80 per hour. This rate reflects the time and effort invested in preparing structured lessons and providing personalised guidance to each student according to their learning needs and pace.
I aim to help students strengthen their understanding, improve their problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their studies through clear explanations and supportive guidance.
The fee structure is simple and transparent — there are no additional charges such as travel fees or hidden costs. Each lesson is charged at RM80 per hour, making it a fair and reasonable rate for quality one-to-one tutoring support.
