About Joseph
I graduated with a masters degree in Chemistry in 2018. Since graduating I have tutored a large variety of students across all sciences and maths at GCSE and A Level. Over the past year I have worked as an actuary for a large insurance broker in London.
Outside of work I am incredibly passionate about sport and have swam and rowed at a national level. I recently became the fastest man to swim the English Channel in 2021 and in doing so raised over £10,000 for charities targeting suicide prevention.

I have a masters degree in chemistry from the University of Bristol achieving a 1st in my masters year. I have been tutoring maths, physics and chemistry across GCSE and A level for the past four years. All of my students have surpassed their target grades with the majority of A level students achieving As and A*s.
In my lessons I aim to help students fully understand their subject and the background behind the science rather than teaching them to remember information. I also have a large focus on exam practice with every lesson involving exam style questions so that students can learn how to apply their knowledge in order to achieve the maximum possible mark.
