Experienced tutor in Violin in Katy, Frances offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

She was extremely dedicated to ensuring that my daughter learn the viola, but more importantly, she instilled a love of music in her to where she continued playing after high school. She also helped me to advocate for her to ensure she was accurately placed in the appropriate level orchestra make sure that upward progress continued. As well, she immediately notiified me when my daughter needed to be moved on to a master violist for instruction. She continues to be a part of my daughter's life, connecting her with her first professional job performing before a crowd of 9000+ patrons. As I am typing this review, I am waiting for a performance to start and Ms. Witherspoon is on stage with my daughter preparing to play with the Scott Joplin Chamber Orchestra of Houston. Teacher abd student playing on the same stage together-it's heartwarming. Currently my daughter plays for the Texas Christian University orchestra and was fortunate to receive a full tuition scholarship. I can't express enough gratitude to Ms. Francis for developing a love of music in my child.

Ms. Witherspoon is an amazing violin teacher. We were so blessed to have her as my daughter’s teacher from 6th to 9th grade. She has so much patience and a true professional! I highly recommend her!
