About Audrey
-I have a love for teaching and music.
-playing violin and classically trained for seven years
-I have participated in many orchestras and competitions.
-I am a music therapy major
-have teaching experience for elementary and middle schoolers
I believe music to be an enabler for self-expression and individuality. Music increases our ability to learn and achieve success and can be applied to many aspects of life. I hope to spread the love for music with many and enjoy helping others achieve their goals.
I started as I was the head first violin in the youth orchestras at both my school and youth programs. I taught other kids how to properly hold and play the instrument as well as the basic note skills, theory, rhythm, and overall style.
I have been classically trained in violin for over seven years and attended many camps for the education of music. I have taught at the elementary and middle school level and assisted in learning camps. I have also participated in several orchestras and know how to lead and play music in a group.

I start with getting the student familiarized with the instrument. This process includes learning the structure of the violin and the ways in which it makes sounds. I also like to teach the theory of music including learning scales and notes. Rhythm is also a huge aspect of learning how to properly read and perform music.
I have worked mainly with beginners and moderate students. Who are just getting into the instrument and music world.
