Yang style (Cheng Man-Ching) tai chi, 4th-generation practitioner (since October, 2003) with Dr. Peter Wayne
Chen style tai chi, 21st-generation practitioner (since September, 2005) with Master Wang Haijun
Sun style tai chi, 4th-generation practitioner (since January, 2006) with Master Thomas Duterme
Certified by the Tree of Life Tai Chi Center Teacher Training Program in September, 2008 (600-hour certification requirements: 100 class hours of Teacher Training, 100 practical hours of Level I/Level II instruction, 300 class hours of Level III Advanced Tai Chi, 100 class hours of Tai Chi Push Hands)

I allow new students the option to try out a class for a one-time fee before registering for a full session. This allows them to experience my teaching style, plus discover just how good they can feel after only one class.
I have worked with middle-aged to elderly students. I have worked with students with special needs and health conditions including: Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury, COPD, and heart disease.
Look for a teacher that does not hide their training and lineage. Look for a teacher that has compassion and empathy. Look for a teacher that is keenly observant, intuitive, and thoughtful. Look for a teacher who will tell you what s/he knows, and freely admit what s/he doesn't know.
