About Leslie
I am a physiology-forward instructor of voice, who primarily focuses on Bel Canto technique and musical theater. Each lesson is designed to help the student grow through detailed technical study and performance coaching. You will be guided through the process of getting to know your own instrument without imitating other singers out there. Through lessons you will be given the tools to enable you to better trouble-shoot in your own practice. My job is to get you to be able to trust in your own abilities and to express yourself to the fullest. As singers, we're tasked with telling stories and guiding audiences in feeling something along with us. Through application of great technique coupled with truly expressive intent, you'll be unstoppable!
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a Master of Music in opera performance from The Boston Conservatory of Music, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts in voice performance from the University of California, San Diego.
