About Erin
I believe that every student is different, so I ensure to tailor my teaching techniques to the students' voice needs, rather than the other way around. I pick music that fits each student and work with them on acheieving their personal goals.
I have been studying how to teach proper vocal technique for four years at Lawrence University, and am about to graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Educational Advocacy. I am well versed in French, German, Italian, and English diction, as well as classical, contemporary, and jazz vocal styles.
I am trained in classical, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, and choral music. I also have knowledge of diction, vocal pedagogy, music theory, aural skills, and sight singing.

My process for working with any new student starts with a conversation about their goals through the lessons. After that initial conversation, I compile a set of pieces I think they should work on, and we work from there!
