About Christian
I specialize in creating a voice that will last for you no matter how much you use it. Most of my students are professional musicians who want increased range and vocal stamina.
These techniques work for all styles and genres as well as voice over work.
Being a Hard Rock singer in the 80s was hard work and I initially struggled with maintaining my voice night after night. Throat tension and tightness always chipping away at me. I decided to take lessons myself and after developing the skills myself to sustain that, I was asked to help my teacher with a few students.
since then my student base has grown. These techniques work!
If you want more power, range, tone and be able to do it all day and night, I'm the teacher for you.
I apprenticed under Dr. Scott Martin of Juliard for many years and have thousands of shows under my belt.
Many of my students are the highest paid singers in the region. I have been teaching singers since 1989.

I modify my approach to meet each students needs. There are so many things that need to happen to create a great voice and not all students need the same thing. I will teach you how to properly use your internal body pressure to create a powerful, sustainable voice.
I have worked with all styles from voice over to Rock, Metal, Doom, Country, Rap, R&B, Benghali. You name it.
I generally work with students over the age of 14 as my techniques require a certain body awareness.
I work with professional as well as beginning students and have ever helped students who have trouble with pitch.
Find a teacher that really speaks to you. The techniques of singing are sometimes hard to describe because they are internal body movements. It's like describing color to a blind person. You will need excellent communication with your teacher to find these skills.
Find a teacher that will teach you a safe, sustainable voice that will last.
Most importantly find a teach that you can have fun with. Music is supposed to be enjoyable.

Details
I generally start students out with a package of four lessons. Each lesson is 1/2 hour in length. That package is 160$. Longer lessons are available once a student develops the basic techniques.
