About Pete
West End Recording Studios is owned and operated by Pete Masitti, a professional musician, producer, and educator with more than 20 years of real-world experience.
Instruction includes vocal coaching, music theory, and audio production, with an emphasis on strong fundamentals and practical skills that translate to real performance, studio, and audition environments.
Vocal coaching supports singers and musical theatre performers, including audition and performance preparation, with focused work on pitch accuracy, clarity, musical interpretation, and confident execution under pressure.
Music theory and audio production instruction is applied and hands-on, including work with DAWs, digital editing, and recording techniques, helping students understand how music functions in modern performance and production settings.
Pete is deeply committed to teaching and enjoys helping motivated students build confidence, skill, and musical understanding through focused, goal-oriented instruction.
Bachelors Degree from The Juilliard School in Performance
Masters Degree from The University of Miami in Composition and Production (Music)
Several years of composition and arranging classes at Cal State University Northridge
I have been a professional musican, composer, producer and audio engineer for over 20 years. I've mentored aspiring musicians, composers and vocalists throughout my entire career and started teaching other kids while I was still in high school.

I've been working with West End Recording Studios for about eight months now and everything has been great.
