New students work with the instructor one on one or with a higher ranking student to go over basic fundamentals as they begin classes.
I've worked with all walks of life, autistic students, ADHD, kids as young as 4yrs old, lawyers, firemen, corporate, high school students, women, etc.
Look for someone who is passionate about setting you up to be successful in training. Someone who cares about your progress and leads by example.
I coached many students in their 1st grappling tournament and watched them excel even after only a short time training.
