About Ross
I am a patient and thorough teacher. I am someone who has had academic struggles. I know that not everyone learns at the same pace. I know when frustration and burnout are emerging and how to push through those.
I love seeing the spark in a students eye when they grasp a concept that they were struggling with. Or the empowerment that comes with being able to program something previously thought outside of your capabilities.
I had the opportunity to instruct while I was in the military. After getting out, I volunteered in Nepal and Cambodia, teaching English and business skills.
I am a graduate of PDX Code Guild Full Stack Web Development boot camp.
