I have worked with very young students (under ten) and also adult students (40+). Both lacked prior musical experience.
You need a teacher you feel comfortable with, that does not make you feel anxious. If you try a teacher for a couple lessons and decide it's not working, find someone that does.

Nice. Caring. Patient. I got my child piano lessons 2 years ago and he’s still taking them with Braydon. Trust is HUGE with a parent, and within a couple lessons, he earned mine and my child’s 100%. Love hearing that piano playing at home!
I have had lessons before, with a few different teaching styles. Braydon stands apart in his ability to instruct in a way that a beginner like myself can easily grasp! Starting a new venture in life is always intimidating, but with Braydon you will quickly feel comfortable and confident!
I'm terrible at music. I tried learning as a kid, but I decided to take it up again, and I'm glad I did. Braydon is a great instructor. He's patient, he takes the time to explain why we're doing what we're doing with the instrument, and best of all, I can actually make music now!
