Scot has done a great job as an instructor with our Adult & Community Education program. Scot has taught classes on how to use a digital camera and led an instructional Photowalk through Watertown. Students have learned a lot and had a great time!

I recently took a photography class with Scot Langdon as part of Watertown's Community Education program. It was great! I really enjoyed how Scot provided one-on-one instruction to the class participants. It seemed as though he was able to evaluate our individual abilities and cater his personal instruction to meet everyone's unique skill level. It was also refreshing to take part in a group photography walk without feeling pressured to get the best shot; Scot encouraged us all to relax and take hundreds of photographs. If we had any questions, during or after the session, he was available and happy to help us learn. I would enthusiastically recommend this photography course to a friend.

Scot joined the staff of the Mariner Newspapers about a year after me. He was a welcome addition who brought a refreshingly new approach to the way news was covered in the communities in which our papers were circulated. He was creative in his photographic approach, but staunchly objective in the way his photographs told very important stories …and even those mundane stories we so often had to cover. Scot was very well thought of by his colleagues and could always be counted on for his high professional standards as a photojournalist. The Mariner Newspapers were "community" newspapers and the people who chronicled life in those small New England towns made up a unique community of our own as well. Scot was a big part of what made the Mariner Newspapers the award-winning newspaper power-house that we were!

I had the pleasure of working with Scot on the 24th Annual Peterborough Open in August. Not only did the photos turn out amazing, his attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, and personality helped us ensure that people were able to look back on the event visually. The day was incredibly HOT, but Scot continued to push through the day, taking pictures of all of golfers.
