Jeremiah is one of the best hands on learn-by-doing teachers I’ve ever worked with. Having the curiosity but very minimal photography experience going into his class, I felt a bit intimidated that first rainy night. But I left with a huge smile, looking forward to what he would share next. He’s definitely a “make lemonade from lemons” kind of teacher but as a photographer and the fact that he’s willing to share his secrets….that’s what sets him apart from the others. He’s not only got it, but he’s willing to share the knowledge - a win-win in my book!!

It was great! It was a relaxed atmosphere and I wasn’t nervous. Jeremiah let us explore around the city and we came back and showed each other our pictures. Made friendships out of it as well.

I wanted to learn how to take better photos for a bucket list trip to Africa. Jeremiah took the time to explain everything from camera set up to lens lighting. He had a lot patience for the all students in the class. I also liked the multiple class trips to experience taking photos at different times of the day.

Jeremiah offered an engaging photography class where each student was able to show printed images and discuss the intention behind the images. This was fun and allowed me to hold the art work and feel the photographer’s intention. I loved it! He also led a team workshop where we explored and photographed a historic neighborhood. While giving personal and encouraging advice to each student, he allowed us to find our own vision. It was an incredible experience!

I took 3 Levels of photography classes with Jeremiah. I really liked the one-on-one classes that I took with him. He is a very patient teacher. He teaches not only the technical aspect of photography but finds where your strengths weaknesses are and from there help build up your skills and confidence level to become a better photographer.
