About Chris
The excitement is created by a beginner student who finds they can create their own art (with a little guidence).
The background I can give is over 40 years of painting, teaching and selling.

For the past 20 years I have been on the Cape particiaping in the Art Gallery Guide of Harwich Artist's Director for 8 years.
Taking a year off I became the President of the Guild all the while showing and selling at Art in the Park in the summer months, Hourglass Gallery and giftes in Melrose, as well as private customer sales.
I have had a watercolor student and oil workshops here on the Cape but my larger classes in oil have been in Worcester (before the Cape) at the High School Adult Education in several surounding towns such as Assabet, West Boylston, and Millbury.

Meeting a new student is a relationship built on getting to know what this person is looking to achieve. It might be drawing, choosing the medium, the surface, the result.
Maybe the student is wishing to master a way of making shapes come off the surface. Maybe working with color theory.
Once there is an understanding of the goal or all the goals it becomes clear how to proceed.
Understanding what supplies work best and how to work with them for the desired technique.

Because I have many size canvas surfaces from 4x4, 5x7, to 30x30 and all inbetween it ranges from $45-$900.
