Jed is super encouraging and breaks things down into easy to follow instructions. His limited palette makes the resulting painting aesthetically pleasing and means you don’t have to spend a ton of money on supplies. I highly recommend his Miniature Class even for beginners. I am learning a lot. I also look forward to his e-mails which are very uplifting and inspiring.

Jed first of all just a really nice guy who really cares about people and shows it all the time and yes that is part of being a good instructor
He is organized but doesnt lose artistic spontaneity. He will share any information he has- never holds back. He gives information that is helpful to the beginner and the more experienced artist. There are way too few acrylic artists teaching those who want to become skilled in the medium I sometimes feel we are the step children of the art world.
Jed’s painting videos are very well set up, clean concise. Good audio and good clear videos. In the true spirit of all the fine art artists, he just gives and gives.

Jed is such an open hearted welcoming instructor. He makes you feel like a friend from day one. He gives us all the courage and motivation we need to become better artists!

Jed is a 4th generation artist. He has been surrounded by it his whole life and it shows. Not only is he an accomplished artist but an experienced teacher. As a student in Acrylic University I have been amazed at how involved Jed is as a teacher and positive mentor. He combines prerecorded video lessons with live online QandA, live online painting sessions, and more. He is very involved in his FB groups and very approachable.
