About Amani
I am an Optometrist, and have been for the last 1.5 years. I enjoy helping patients see a little better through providing glasses prescriptions as well as catching eye diseases early.
Prior to this, during my uni days, I tutored English and Math to over 20 students ranging in age. I enjoyed helping my students achieve their study goals a lot. I am looking to get back into it, now that I have settled into my Optometry career.
In my spare time, I love to engage in anything which involves arts and crafts.

As a tutor, I aim to reduce the anxiety which may come with tough subjects by fostering a non-judgmental environment, being patient, and building confidence in my students by celebrating micro-wins. I try to break information down into manageable steps to prevent students from feeling overwhelmed.
