About Wendy
I have been teaching voice for almost 30 years, 20+ years at the university level. I teach people how to improve their natural sound & correct vocal imperfections. I teach in the Bel Canto style, focusing on learning proper vocal technique & then applying it to different styles & genres of singing. We learn how to maintain vocal health & flexibility in singing so the student will be able to sing well their entire life.
I teach middle school-adult students in my home studio. We have recitals twice a year and occasional masterclasses.
I love singing & teaching voice. Each human voice is unique. My job is to help students find their sound & build their voice to its fullest potential.
