About Paloma
My Name is Paloma, I am from the UK but I am traveling around South East Asia! I know basic Korean which may help with lessons if you are from South Korea, but I can also speak conversational Portuguese and Spanish. I have 5 years of work experience in the corporate field in areas such as Administration, E-Commerce; Finance; Marketing and Social Media as well as Event Management! However, I also have 3 years of voluntary teaching experience with various ages from infants to adults. I have always loved helping others to learn and understand new things! I love learning languages myself so I understand the struggle, nerves and shyness that comes with it, so teaching gives me the opportunity to help others, both like myself or not, to confidently learn in a fun yet practical and engaging way!

I have a fun, calm yet focused approach to teaching. I focus on what you are looking to improve on first then adapt my lessons to that or create a personal lesson just for you! My lessons are 1 hour long with a 5 minute break for the younger students and an optional 5 minute break for older students. I teach all ages but mainly focus on test prep, vocabulary, sentence structure, conversational practice, reading, and listening. I have 3 years voluntary teaching experience and I have a fully accredited 120 hour advanced TEFL certificate. If you are looking for someone to help teach your children English in a fun and engaging way, my lessons are available to kids aged 5 and above from beginner to advanced. If you are looking for someone to practice speaking, give tips on or review your CV (resume), or interview practice, my lessons are also for mature adults!
