About Heather
Hello. I am a fourth special education teacher of 18 years. I like to keep the sessions light but still engaged and fun. I look forward to hearing from you!
I started working with children at a young age and quickly discovered I had a passion for learning and helping children of all ages.
I have a BA I n Elementary and Special Education from Holy Family University.
I also have a MEd in Special Education, also from Holy Family University.

I think it's important to get to know the student as a student, learning about them as an individual and as a learner. From there, I can create and implement activities that will help in making a connection with each student.
Early in my career, I worked with upper elementary students as well as middle school. For the past almost 10 years, I have worked in the fourth grade with students who have mild learning disabilities.
