About Mya
I've always loved working with kids! I personally was a Teacher Aide from February 2019 - December 2019. Unfournately, I had to leave that job because I switched counties. Teaching younger kids has always been something I enjoy doing, especially due to the fact that I have younger siblings.
When I do teach, I make sure that the student feels satisfied and aware with what's being taught before ending the lesson/discussion. The whole point of a tutor is to get a better if not complete understanding of a subject, so I try my best to make sure my students feel this way.
I've worked with CYA, (Chantilly Youth Association). I was an Assistant Basketball Coach from April 2018 to June 2018. The age group I worked with was 8-10 years old. As mentioned, I've also worked with Highkicks Taekwondo.

Usually, I'll have the parents reach out to me and discuss what it is that their children need help on. During that discussion, I make sure that the parents tell me any specifics. The dicussion basically touches base on anything the parents have questions on.
