About Katherine
I have been a tutor at the University of South Carolina for two years in historically difficult college classes, such as chemistry and psychology. I am a biology major and mathematics minor, so I have knowledge and experience in many STEM areas! I have worked with large groups of students from many different educational backgrounds, and I always make sure to work at the students pace. I have practiced many different learning strategies as well, which allows me to provide the best experience to students.
My favorite part of being a tutor has been connecting with other students! I enjoy helping them love to learn the material they are working with. My goal is to have students genuienly understand what they are learning, not just go through the motions. It is very exciting when a student struggles with material and you see them begin to work on thier own and enjoy the process.
