About David
I’ve tutored high school math, taught college statistics, and tutored math periodically over the years, including two daughters who were UC math majors.
I can trace my love of math to a grade school teacher who complimented me – I'd taken a shortcut on a problem in front of the class and she turned her correction into a compliment -- what a great teacher. Nothing is so motivating as believing you’re good at something. Instilling that belief is the goal. There’s nothing like enthusiasm and confidence to change from struggling to excelling -- and it’s a pleasure to share in that success.
I have a bachelors in math and a masters in economics from UCLA
