About Madison
I am currently taking a break from working to receive my B. S. in biology from Concordia University to be with my boyfriend while he finishes medical school. I have approximately one semester left to graduation. I have been tutoring since I was a sophomore in High School and have enjoyed it very much. I have taken and passed 10 AP exams, with an average score of over a 4 making me an international AP scholar.

Typically, when I get a new student I spend the first 10/15 minutes of our starting session to get to know them, what they like, etc. and what they feel like they are struggling with. I feel that this is especially important for my students because it helps me tailor my examples to things that can peak their interests and keep them engaged. It is also helpful for my younger students as they often times have an easier time articulating their issues to me than to their parents.
