About Anna
I hold a Bachelors in Mathematics, with an emphasis in Finance and Economics. I currently working in Data Analysis in a major corporation downtown Chicago. Mathematics comes easy to me, but I know that’s not the case for everyone. I’m patient, compassionate, and creative in my approach, and adapt to the unique needs of my students.
I have always loved Math and want to share my skills and knowledge with other students to help open possibilities for their future. Education is one of my main interests, and I find it very fulfilling to be able to impact a students future.
I started 5 years ago, while I still attending University.
I hold a bachelors in Mathematics, with an emphasis in Finance and Economics from Santa Clara University. I currently work as a data analyst, but wish to share my skills and knowledge with students to help open possibilities for their future.

Prior to meeting, I ask for a photo example of the material they wish to cover, in order to plan how to best use our time to tackle the topic. I come up with examples that the student can be challenged but have me ready to patiently walk them through and come up with creative ways to remember things.
Worked largely with High School and College students.
Look for someone who you can get along with and feel comfortable and confident working with. Be open to asking questions, that's what we are here for! And above all else, be honest with your experiences and communicate to your tutor the areas that you are struggling and need help with.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Don't be afraid to admit you don't understand or something is hard for you. Communicating this will help the tutor adjust to meet your individual needs.
