About Brenda
As a college, high school and middle school educator, I have been helping students discover the application of mathematics in our world. Mathematics can be seen as one of the tools we use to solve real world problems. I help students become problem solvers as well as seasoned math scholars.
Math can be a mystery.. and who doesn't love solving mysteries?
I switched careers from Business Executive to educator.

First, I spend a bit of time getting to know the student in order to understand and frame their unique situation. Then, we discuss areas where they need or require help and map out a plan for success together.
I have worked with elementary, middle and high school students.
Look for a teacher who is knowledgeable and patient. One who can help make the math understandable, and help you stretch what you learn.
Visiting the beach always makes me happy.

Perfect! My girls love Ms. Brenda! They are taking Algebra ll over the summer. In their own words, 'Ms. Brenda is a great tutor; she is so nice, she really explains things well.' Each of my kids wished they had her for a teacher during the school year for their Geometry and Chemistry classes. They said that they would have definitely understood the material better if she taught it--now that really says alot! I am very pleased that we hired Ms. Brenda and would happily do so again in the future.
