About Qingyi
As an admitted MD student and recent graduate from UC Berkeley, I believe I can bring a wealth of knowledge and a strong academic foundation.
During my time at Berkeley, I gained experience tutoring SATs and various college-level courses. This experience has not only honed my teaching skills but also deepened my understanding of the diverse academic needs and learning styles of students.
My tutoring approach focuses on understanding and nurturing the unique learning styles of each student. I believe that learning extends well beyond the absorption of information; it’s also about discovering how we learn best. I am keen on helping students learn how to maximize the gains from their studying time, to identify and work on weaknesses, and tailor my teaching style to each student.
Additionally, I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement. I think motivation and encouragement play crucial roles in the learning process, and I strive to create a learning environment where students feel supported and excited about learning.
