About Cadesha
Cross Calculation Tutoring provides students with a practical and personalized tutoring services carried out at their convenience. Before sessions begin, there is a unique evaluation that catergorically assesses where you/ or your child is struggling. This service includes one on one tutoring session supported by a plan of action creaed for each individual student.
As an experienced teacher, I see each new challenge as an opportunity for proactive, positive learning. I am kind, knowledgeable, very patient with my students and extremely well-rounded.
As a mother of a child with special needs, I hold a special place in my heart for students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and I possess the unique skills required to facilitate enjoyable learning to even the most exceptional students. I am passionate about helping my students discover their distinct learning styles and finding creative ways for them to learn and understand new concepts and materials, despite challenges.
Teaching was a childhood dream of mine. I loved working with others and helping them achieve their full potential. Math is a difficult subject for most so I pride myself in making it fun, relatable, and understandable.
I have been teaching/ tutoring for the past ten years. I currently have a BS in Mathematics for Dallas Baptist University. I'm currently an Algebra II teacher within the local ISD.

The typical process of working with a student is identifying their learning techniques and the area in which they are struggling in the most. Create a plan that will be efficient and effective in regard to their particular goals.
I have worked with a variety of students. As a mother of a child with special needs, I hold a special place in my heart for students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and I possess the unique skills required to facilitate enjoyable learning to even the most Exceptional students.
I would advise the student to ensure the teacher is able to meet and create lessons or sessions geared toward their learning style. That the teacher is efficient with the time provided for the session.
I recently tutored a sixth grader that had Dyscalculia (dyslexia with numbers) and hearing issues. She struggled understanding math concepts and she had not been successful on a math exam. After several weeks of one-on- one tutoring, she passed her math exam with an 88.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should pinpoint their area of struggle. Be able to articulate what they are having trouble with and what's the best way to meet their needs.

Perfect! Very professional and breaks it down for anyone to understand.
Perfect! Ms. Cadesha has helped learning math become easier. She has been great for someone like me who has been out of high school for a few years, where lot of the information I learned has become hard to remember and she is super great at helping me repick it up. So far, intermediate Algebra has been a super easy concept with her help. Not only is she a great teacher, she is a super awesome person and I've enjoyed the conversations we've had along with the lessons. Will definitely be going to her for all tutoring regarding any math lessons.

Ms. Cross is patient and explains thoroughly. She takes the time to make sure I understand every step. I was not as confident when I started and I was worried about not being prepared for the state exam. Once I completed my 3 week session, I left fully understanding all the material I should have learned during the year with my regular teacher. Ms. Cross has helped me so much! I passed my math state exam, almost mastering it and I ended the year with an A! I could not have done it without Ms. Cross helping me understand and build my confidence. I cannot wait to start prepping in July for my upcoming Freshman year!
Cross Calculations is the best tutor!! My son struggles with math and she was able to teach him in a way that he could follow her, understand her, and retain the concepts she taught him.
