About Daniel
I have been a private tutor for 6 years, and have a bachelor's degree in economics from Lehigh University. I have tutored students ranging in age from 6th grade to high school seniors. I have consistently raised clients' grades in every case. I have ample leadership experience (as I am a manager at Lehigh University's Taylor Gym) and know that the best way to connect with students is to teach and process information with them, not to or at them.
I enjoy forging connections with my student-clients and using my knowledge to further the schoolastic aptitude of bright young students.
I was recognized in my school system for exemplary academic standing. Administration of my school system recommended me for a family with a strugling 7th grader, and I have been tutoring ever since!
I have been a provate tutor for 6 years. Further, I have served as the Manager of the FItness Assistants at Lehigh's Taylor Gym. I was tasked with teaching and training my staff every week. I am well versed in topics of teaching and training, at a wide range of age levels and understanding.

This process usually starts with a brief introduction between myself and my student-client, as I want them to understand that we are colleagues working towards the same goal of increasing his or her comprehension of a subject. Then, I have them explain to me what they do understand and what they don't and to what degree. I prioritize my teaching style based on efficiency and the fact that learning a subject builds on prior topics. I find that having a student explain the material back to me demonstrates a proper understanding of the subject.
I have worked with students with IEP's and learning disabilities. I have also honor roll students, as well as students on the brink of failure.

Details
My standard rate is $20/hour. However, I do offer a 10% discount for every 10th hour worked. Also, if a client referrs a friend to me for my services, I will discount my rate by 20% for 10 hours of work.
