About Zack
I am one of six siblings so started teaching others at a very young age as I would often help my younger siblings out with homework questions. At around age 18 I got my first tutoring job at a tutoring center in CT where I fell in love with helping others find different and easier ways to learn math.
I have worked at mutliple math tutoring centers including mathnasuim and Zanaic tutoring grade levels from elementary school to High School. I have a real passion for math and have always regarded it as my best subject. I studied mathmatics and economics at Trinity College Dublin and Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Typically when I meet with a new student I will tailor my work to their needs and goals for what they want accomplished during the session. I find coming prepared with problems to do together based on what they are currently learning is the best way to see what knowledge gap need to be filled.
I have worked with a wide variety of students from students trying to advance their math level to those who are trying to catch up and fill their gaps in knowledge. Additionally, I have extensive expierence with students with dyslexia. I work well with students who are motivated to improve themselves no matter the math level as I am a firm believer that anyone can learn math if they have the right teacher.
My advice to a student would be to consider if this teacher is the best fit for you. Take the first meeting to see wheather you get along with the teacher and if you find them helpful. I find that the best teachers connect with their students on a friendship basis.
An event that lives in my head is when I participated in the club nationals championship for rowing. Me and a friend from high school rowed in a pair (2 people boat) and had a great time. We didn't medal but had a great time and keep in touch to this day.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Is this teacher available the times that works for me? Do they have expierence teaching the content of the course? Are they willing to adapt to how I learn best?

Zack is amazingly patient and calm. He is always willing to change strategies to help his students better understand. While math can be extremely frustrating for some, he breaks it down to be much more simple and does not get upset when his students don’t understand. He just tries a different approach, which is great!
Zack helped my 11 yr old son who has dyslexia and dysgraphia with math . He was so patient and kind snd really took the time to understand him . He did a wonderful job with him snd helped advance him so much in his basic math skills and got him to do math we would never have dreamed possible . He started 3 years behind and is now almost grade level . Zack also helped with my other son 8 that runs very advanced in math and has helped him get into accelerated math programs at his local elementary school . Would totally recommend Zack he is great with special Ed and very good with advanced also .
Wonderful!

For my lessons I like to keep pricing between $20 per hour and $35 per hour depending on the distance I will have to travel. I can also do a discounted rate if students are able to commit to multiple sessions upfront.
