About Tyler
I graduated as a mechanical engineer at BYU in April 2021 and since then I have been doing engineering work, passed 2 more engineering exams, and have been tutoring several referrals in my spare time. I really enjoy watching the people I tutor grow and become better and better at math.
For folks that are interested, the other two engineering exams are the FE - Mechanical and PE - Mechanical - HVAC. The FE was a 6 hour test that reviews everything you learn in college and it's a pass/fail and I passed the first time. The PE was a 9 hour test and it's also pass/fail and it specializes in the engineering I focus on and I also passed that the first time as well.
I've tutored middle schoolers and high schoolers and have really enjoyed it. My favorite thing to see is a kid who feels like they never understand math and then to hear them say "holy cow I did it!". I just enjoy watching others make a weakness become a strength.
I get the same experience at my work. I do engineering, chase work, and help hire and train new engineers and interns.
I have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from BYU and I've passed the FE in Mechanical Engineering.
