About VanLeer-Mercedes
I love Math and Science. I am currently in school to teach Elementary education. I feel as though a lot of children who have difficulties with math or don't like math, struggle because they weren't taught it in a way that is appealing to their learning styles. With that being said, it drives me to help children learn it in a way that they will understand and that is what motivated me to make education my major. Having an early foundation of understanding is very important. I also want to help the children who don't have an understanding of mathematical concepts, achieve that so they can continue to succeed.
When I realized the need of a better foundation in education in my neighborhood.
I am an eduation major. Getting my dual certifivation in both special education and general education in grade K-8. I have been tutoring children for the past 2 1/2 years.
