About Jacob
A recent graduate from Swarthmore College in History and Mathematics, I am here to help students build skills, confidence, and passion in their math education. With 5 years of tutoring experience with students ages 10-20 in subjects ranging from basic arithmetic to Multivariable Calculus, I am prepared to meet students wherever they are on their math journey. For some students this means helping them catch up in a challenging class with targeted lesson plans, practice material, and homework support. For others, tutoring is an opportunity to get ahead academically with additional review, introduction to advanced topics, and hands-on college admissions test preparation to ace their upcoming SAT or ACT.
Subject focuses: Algebra (I and II), Geometry, Trigonometry and Precalculus, Calculus (AB and BC), SAT/ACT
