About Jacob
At Gradient Tutoring, we ensure students an opportunity to understand material through assignment assistance, organization skills, and persistent, flexible scheduling. We seek to create an environment that encourages easy learning and takes the stress out of school.
I am currently in my second year at the University of Tennessee pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
There's no better feeling to me than being able to provide someone with a spark in a subject that they may have never found interesting.
A high school teacher once told me that the best way to learn the material was to teach it to someone else. So, in order to study, I began teaching my family members the material and began to enjoy this method of review. After that, I tutored other individuals at my high school in classes that I had already taken and completed well.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and have completed a multitude of higher-order mathematics courses.

We encourage students to bring their questions to us. As material is better understood through this process, reinforcing the material becomes key in improving test scores and overall grades.
I have worked with primarily high school and college students but am willing to expand to other education levels within my understanding.
I would advise the student to find someone that meets their teaching style. Often times, my favorite teachers have optimized the way in which I learn best. This can especially be seen in a tutor given the one on one nature of their lessons.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should consider what things are causing problems in the class, what can be done to solve these problems before confronting the teacher, and how the teacher may help to contribute to the solving of these problems as well.
