About Amber
I am a private tutor that caters to any level math student from elementary through college. I have been tutoring since 2012 and love encouraging my students to succeed. I love math and have a BS in Civil Engineering.
I have five younger sisters and started by tutoring each of them because I have always loved math and been good at it.
I've been tutoring in math and science for over 5 years. I also have a degree in Civil Engineering which requires extensive math experience to achieve.

First I like to see where they are. I usually see what class they are in and start with their homework or example problems for that level. Then I will continue to work with them based on where their understanding level is. I try many different approaches to see how each student learns and try to adapt my teaching style accordingly.
I have worked with all kinds of students elementary through college.
