About Jocelyn
I work in the aster utility industry but also have a lifetime of experience speaking Spanish. I aim to help students have conversation proficiency.
- Physics learning assistant
During my senior year at Smith College I worked with first and second year students in the classroom. I first worked on the classroom problems and noted where students might struggle and prepared explanations accordingly.
- Pedagogical Assistant
I worked with an education professor where I observed the classroom and noted ways to make the space more inclusive for different styles of learning.
- Interim Project 2015
I worked with a group of classmates to prepare and teach a three (3) day introductory genetics course to high school freshmen. I engaged with the students through interactive learning, such as trivia games, and physical demonstrations.
