About Stacey
I began college not knowing what I wanted to pursue, and fell into teaching and have loved it ever since!
I have been teaching for eleven years. I've taught four years of first grade, four years of fourth grade, and I am finishing my third year of teaching seventh grade math.

I like to get to know my students first. What are their strengths and weaknesses both within and outside of school. I want my students to feel comfortable and not overwhelmed.
I have worked with all kinds of students. I've taught inclusion classes with students with special needs, including speech impairments, blindness, physical impairments. I have also worked with high level achievers, afluent students, typical everyday students, and students stricken by poverty.
Don't just pick the first teacher you see. Take time to read the bio and find out about the teacher first. You don't want to spend your money and valuable learning time on someone you're not comfortable with.
I am very proud that for the third time I was named teacher of the year at my school. It is one of the largest middle schools in the state of Alabama.
