About Maurice
I am student focused with a goal of teaching students to become better learners.
I enjoy working with students and improving their chances of success personally and academically.
I had a cousin who was special needs and I assisted him when we were children.
I have taught special education for 4th through 8th grade within the Cleveland, OH public school district for all subjects. In addition, I have taught college level business and math courses.

Initially, I spend time getting to know the student as a person and his or her particular learning style. Then, I develop a plan for success with student based on the specific outcomes we are trying to achieve. The student then gets to control our pace based on their level of effort and drive to achieve our goals.
I have worked with gifted and special need students.
