About Hari
I am an honors Chemical Engineering grad from UCSB, and have 5 years of tutoring experience at the college and high school level. I pride myself in making math and science accessible and interesting by finding interesting applications based on the student body. My resume is attached.
As a tutor, I have taught college students, and high school students in all levels of math and science. Courses include Pre-Algebra all the way to Calculus 1/2, Chemistry 1/2, and Physics 1-2. I also really enjoy film and media, and spend my free time as a writer-director. I believe my experience in the arts helps me to relate to my students and present material in a more relatable, accessible, and engaging way.
For me, the greatest feeling is helping a student discover their love and passion for math and science that they maybe didn't feel because they were scared or intimidated previously. I like helping students feel confident and comfortable with STEM subjects.
