About Eugene
When I first started grade school, my dad worked as a professor, so we couldn't afford a sufficiently challenging education. However, in the summer before sixth grade, my dad caught a higher paying job, and my education grew more challenging. As I began high school, my education bumped up again to a top-thirty New Jersey high school -- the school I will graduate by June 2020. I believe that, with a helping hand, all students can learn to thrive in their learning environment, and that the wide scope of my academic experiences can offer just that.
As a part of the membrane that envelopes the people working within their discipline. Aside from contributing to the complex processes that embody progress, our most important duty is holding open small gaps in that membrane to let new people in. Sure some require more effort than others to pull across the gap, but few experiences compare to bringing someone into the know. Any knowledge is only as strong as those who understand it, and I hope to bring you/your child into the fields behind our technologically driven world.
Over my time in high school, a few friends have approached me with questions in the courses that I am taking or have taken. Then, during my senior year, I joined the Organization for Student Tutors. There, I tutored high school students in their STEM studies.

At the beginning of the first session, I take a few minutes to get a feeling for what the student has trouble with (understanding a concept, applying concepts to tests, problem-solving, etc).
Then, if they can, I give them a few problems to understand how they are thinking and where weak points are in their abilities.
Every Friday, I go bouldering (rock climbing) with a few friends. It feels great to move around and work out new challenges.
