About Tutor
am currently a middle school math and science teacher. I was voted "Teacher of the Year" in 2023-24 school year. After 10 years of working as a pharmacy technician, I decided to return to school for a degree in Psychology in hopes of becoming a school counselor. My plan was to work as a teacher for only a year but after a few months in the classroom, I realized teaching was my passion. I enjoy learning as well as teaching. My hands-on approach to education has gotten my students higher scores on most of their standardized tests. I recently graduated with a Master's in Education with a concentration in curriculum and instruction. My goal is to help schools choose curriculum materials that not only align to their state's standards but one that will meet students where they are academically.
