About Cooper
I am a paraprofessional at a local elementary school. I have lots of experience working with children one on one. Seeing the kids everyday is something that I truly miss and I would love to be able to continue teaching in a one on one environment. That's what led me to this website! I can't wait to start teaching!
I love seeing a student grow into ways that they did not even know was possible
My father was a Special Education teacher. He is the reason I became a Paraprofessional and am thinking about becoming a full time teacher

The first step in my process is to try and gain a personal connection with the student. Then I try and identify what areas they are struggling with the most. Finally, I focus in on those areas they are stuggling in and work with the stident to get their skills up. I then integrate what they have newly learned into the rest of the math problem so that they understand easier.
I have worked with general education students, gifted students, special education students, including students with autism and Down syndrome
