When I am tutoring someone It all starts with getting them in th midset to work. Usually I use the method of positive reinforcement, or rewarding them when they do well because this method not only makes them want to do better but it teaches them that when they don't do what they are supposed to do they can't expect to be rewarded.
I have worked with students from grades k-9.
Hire someone that knows your struggle. And hire someone that knows what it is that they're teaching.
