About Tyler
When I was younger, math was my least favorite subject. It seemed borning, pointless, and repetitive, which was a source of great frustration. Now I have seen the brighter side of math, and I want to share the beauty of the subject. My experience allows me to emphasize with my student's frustrations at their work, and I always strive to make learning both enjoyable and eye-opening.
I enjoy seeing students get to that moment of deeper understanding, where everything clicks suddenly. It's not enough to just be able to plug numbers into a formula, we want to have an intuition behind why those formulas exist and how & why they work. Seeing that all come together makes everything worth it.
I have a Batchelor degree in Mathematics, and over 1000 hours of tutoring experience with elementary, middle, and high school students.
