About Nathan
I have over 10 years teaching experience in multiple different countries. I've been teaching in the US for the past 7 years.
I'm a certified teacher in both California and Michigan with a Master's degree in Special Education. I've taught and tutored 6th-12th grade students in English, Social Studies, and Math.
My instruction style begins with students setting ambitious goals for themselves, creating a road-map to those goals through achieveable steps, and surpassing their own expectations. I motivate students to put forth their best effort and attitude. I'm a strong believer that the best behavior plan is a good lesson plan so I strive to engage students in meaningful work.

I began as a foreign language instructor in China, earned my teaching degree, and eventually gained a full-time teaching position in a school district.
I have a Master's Degree in Education and have been teaching at the Middle and High School level for 8 years.
