About Joanna
I have a Bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science. I am a CRLA Level 3 Certified Tutor. I was a tutor for 3.5 years and a Supplemental Instructor (similar to a teacher's assistant) for 3 years. I focused mainly on Calculus and Differential Equations, and love to help students develop a better understanding of the subjects. I have a full-time job, but especially during these times where everything is remote, I would love to help out in any way that I can.
I have a B.S. in Math and Computer Science from High Point University. I am a CRLA Level III certified tutor.

I like to understand where they are at in the class or subject. Then, either go through problems or specific questions around a topic. A lot of times, especially once I get to know the student, I like to make analogies to things that they know or are interested in. I find that analogies really help the student to understand the concept in a different way.
All college students so far.
