About Shelby
What better way to get help with math then to have a 1-on-1 tutoring session with a certified math teacher who has been teaching online for 8 years! I love empowering students to take control of their learning and teaching them how to learn math not just learn the concepts.
I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I started by helping out my peers in middle school with their math and it snowballed from there!
I graduated in 2013 with a Bacholor of Arts in Education with a major in mathematics and a minor in physics. I have been teaching online for 8 years in all math subjects. My favorite is algebra!

Meeting a new student always starts with getting to know them and building trust. Many students lack the confidence to complete math work independently. Building a relationship and gaining trust will allow me to support your student in their math confidence.
